March 2026 Audition Information

What ‘s the what
We are casting for
our 90 minute Macbeth performing in Somerville, Ma and Portland, ME
Note: We do get someone inebriated every night we perform. No faking. No tricks. We take care of our drinker, before, during, and after the show but it is real. And sometimes that can be a lot. Too much in fact, for some. So please consider that.
We are looking to cast actors that reflect our audiences. These folks tend to be young (21+ a must), diverse, and enthusiastic.
Audition slots are limited
Sunday March 1st, 11AM to 3PM
Somerville Music Spaces 1060 Broadway Suite C101B, Somerville
Due to the volume of responses, not everyone is granted an audition slot. You will be emailed either way.
If you receive an audition slot, you will need to
Complete the Google form that you will be sent with your time slot
Prepare 2 contrasting SHAKESPEARE pieces. 5 minutes max
Note: Callbacks are scheduled for 4 hours on Sunday March 8th 11A-3P. Location will be in Somerville and accessible by public transportation. You will be asked to attend the entire time.
90 minute version of Macbeth (Traveling Show)
Rockwell Theater, Somerville: Fri-Sat June 12-27
Portland Maine July 22-25. This is considered a touring show and group accommodations will be provided.
Fall 2026 - Spring 2027
We will hold auditions later in the spring for the below
Macbeth Touring September thru May
The Rockwell Theater November thru February with a 2 week break late December to early January. This production is TBD
